This folder contains the full genome sequence of yeast used in our work.

This sequence was downloaded from the SGD database at: http://www.yeastgenome.org

The genome release downloaded is described in the article.

The genome sequence is organized by chromosome in FASTA format.

Three additional files contain the following:

correspondency_table: This file contains the correspondency between the original filenames,
                      the current filenames and chromosome numbers.

chr_list: This file contains a list of the chromosomes found in yeast (MT stands for mitochondrial
          chromosome).

yeast_genome.tar.gz: This file is a tar.gz file that contains all files displayed in this directory.
                     After downloading this file, under LINUX OS, the following commands must be
                     executed to decompress and expand the contents of this file:

                     gunzip yeast_genome.tar.gz

                     tar -xvf yeast_genome.tar
